Delia is from Little Rock, Arkansas where she learned to love clothing, textiles, and antique objects. From her mother and her grandmother, she inherited a particular fondness for the aesthetics and antics of parties. At sixteen years old, during a formative and immersive year in Normandy, Delia came to appreciate a European je ne sais quoi, which continues to inspire her work.
Her education in fashion has unfolded across continents with a bachelor's degree in Fashion Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and advanced degrees from Central Saint Martins in London, UK and Institut Français de la Mode in Paris, France. During sabbatical periods in Hong Kong, she enriched her studies in textile and design. Delia has worked at leading maisons including Chanel, Rabanne, Chloé and Lanvin.
Today, she designs from her Paris apartment. Through her brand, she shares her vision of modern glamour with a focus on fine materials, using tweed from the UK as well as deadstock fabric from French fashion houses to make wearable clothes of timeless elegance and a bold joie de vivre.
All pieces are made by hand in collaboration with an atelier in the garment district of Paris, the Sentier neighborhood of the 2nd arrondissement. The atelier is a small family-owned business that has been passed down from father to daughter. From prototyping to production, each article is developed in partnership between Delia and the atelier. Only what is needed for production is ordered. Any scraps are used for headbands or toiling to ensure sustainable practices and reduce waste.
